A birthday card with gingham

Hello again!

I think I will say hello a few times today! My daughter just came round for a short visit so I had a bit of a chat with her. She brought me a load of vegetables from her boyfriends mom's garden! So I guess I will be eating a lot of veggies this week!
Going back to cards I made this card for the birthday of my friends daughter! I will enter it into the Die cut dreams challenge where they want gingham....
This card did take me about 2 hours to make - not that it is so complicated but because of the distressing of all these bits and pieces! Also I have realised that I like to make my own flowers - I mean the ready made ones are fine but I think you can match the colors much better if you make your own and well I don't know for me it is just much more satisfying!
So here is the card......

I used Cuddly Buddly papers, punched out the flowers, perles from stash, a bit of ice stickles to make the flowers shine and Rayher ribbon.... I made a double bow with the Bow Easy - very easy! Oh yes the stamp is Hero arts Scattered leaves....Oh yes and  I used the TH Dusty concord ink!
I think that is all folks.....but I have more so stay tuned!
Hugs,
Cardarian
