WOYWW, I am still making Christmas cards!

Hello my dear friends!

I hope you are all well and doing your last Christmas preparations! Well I must admit I haven't done anything much yet if we are talking about decorations - that is suppose to happen over the weekend! Thing is I had a nasty cold and was still going to work as I can't have anymore days off and when I came home I was too tired to do stuff like that - the only thing I could do is sit in my little room and make Christmas cards! And I have made quite a few - they are all different styles - I guess that is why they take so much time doing.....but nevertheless lets get on with the usual Wednesday business - showing off our messy or tidy desks and all congregating at our leader Queen Julia.....go over there and see what it is all about!
Oh yes before I show my desk I must say that I have added a globe that shows where people are that visit my blog - sooo nice to see all the dots coming from all over the world - thank you visitors I am so happy you have visited my blog!
Ok now lets have a look at my desk....

What you can see is another Christmas card in the making - stamp is from Oxford Impressions - it isn't finished yet but what I love is my new framelets which I used for the fram of the stamp - very useful! Also you can see loads of inks, my cuppa, two pairs of scissors - the smaller ones are for cutting more detailed stuff....a plastic box that is full of those little stamps that are on the Craft Stamper journal, an Artemio Christmas stamp set, glitter....bla, bla, bla......
What you can also see is a lovely poinsettia.....I finally got the TH tattered poinsettia die, I also got the embossing folder so to try it out I colored some card with lovely acrylic metalic paints that have glitter in them and here is the result - oh I just love this die! The detail with the embossing folder is just amazing!

And as last a few new cards I have made....

The stamps are Stampin' Up - I have had them for a few years but they are so useful - love them! I also love TH tinsel! So decorative!
And here is a vintage one with good old St. Nick....

Used a bit of tulle netting on the background to make it more fun! I quite like the result! The pic is from the internet - a vintage Christmas postcard....

And this is a card I made with the Crafty Individuls this years new Christmas stamp - the photo might not show it but the card is lovely and glitery - used the distress dry glitter rock candy....

I would love to show you my angels but I can't as they haven't arrived to their destination yet...I took some really lovely photos so as soon as I get word that they have arrived at their new home you will see them on my blog....
And as last a few more photos of our new snow and -16 deg C......really cold.... I know you can't feel it but I can....brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr........

Ok then that is me for today! Have a lovely WOYWW and try to finish your Christmas crafting BEFORE Christmas! :-)

Lots of hugs to all of you,
Cardarian

  1. I admire you making so many different cards - me? I mass produce a simple style one, over and over and over again :)

And oh that flower die! SOOOOO pretty.
Hope you are on the mend - everyone is sick it seems. Here's hoping it was enough before the big day that you'll be at full strength by then. But really at -16 be sure to wrap up warm. I shiver just thinking about it. Brrrrr

    Happy WOYWW

  5. No wonder they are taking a long time to get through such a load of work in just one card, let alone all of them. They are beautiful. You can have the cold. Tomorrow here in Melbourne it is going to be 35 degrees that is nice and hot....

    Happy WOYWW

  8. I do love the snow, but only if I can enjoy it instead of trying to fight my way home from work in it!! Those are lovely cards, and no wonder they're taking a long time, there's such a lot of work going on there! Hope you get rid of your cold soon and can enjoy the festive season.
