Hello my dear bloggy friends!
I am very much ashamed today as I didn't get round to almost any of my visitors last week - I am sooo busy with work I just couldn't get up to it - really sad because the week before I visited all my visitors and packed in a few more too! Huh! Anyway thank you to all who have visited me and I promise to do better this week!
Now it would be almost silly to mention that the purpose of WOYWW is a big worldwide snoop around desks organized by Madame Julia at Stamping Ground ! I thought I would mention in case there is someone who hasn't heard about it yet!
Sooo lets get up to this showing of desks! WARNING!!! Anybody who is OCD and gets very ill if he/she looks at a mess should look away because I will probably be the mess winner of the week!!!
Last night something went bang when I was crafting and a box full of crafty stuff fell on the floor making a big mess, also I was making an Easter card and things got quite messy on my desk too sooo here is the desk situation of this morning.......
So what you can see is a card I made, various papers I thought I would use for my card but didn't then a few new dies - an egg one from Xcut and 2 new Joy ones and a Nellies one! Also some cute stamps which I colored at a course I took with one of our coloring geniuses Janja from JAAL . I am really bad at coloring - I have a heavy hand when it comes to coloring and it is almost impossible for me to understand the word LIGHT!!! But as you see with a good teacher anything is possible!
Here is the picture of all the stuff that fell on the floor....huh a right mess.....
And here is the overall mess....
Here is a close up of my first Easter Card....there will be more in the next days... I don't know how many of you still make and send Easter cards - I think it is a lovely tradition and I still keep it up! I used a few die cuts and a vintage greeting card as my focal point!....
Here is a photo from our course....
I have been given another 2 Liebster Awards this week - honestly I am not sure that I deserve all these awards...
I will blog about it tomorrow and give them forward! Thank you to the very kind ladies who think I deserve it!
Ok that is it my dear friends! Enjoy the snoop!
Lots of hugs to all of you,
Cardarian

Hi Cardarian
ReplyDeleteYour Easter card is wonderful and the things that ended up on the floor, well, that's just a clever piece of 'abstract' art:)

The end result is stunning! A beautiful card! Love the way your desk is and the overspill onto the floor. The mark of a true crafter.
ReplyDeleteTake care

I love seeing work in progress and a desk brimming with creativity
ReplyDeleteI agree with Annie, above, it is just how a crafty space should look. Love your finished card too. Hugs, Anne x #23
ReplyDeleteYour "mess", as you put it , just shows how busy you are. Love your coloring project, cute little guy and your Easter card is beautiful. The spill.....well you will probably find something you forgot you had when you get around to picking it up..,LOL

Such a pretty card so it makes up for the mess - it will soon be tidied up - don't worry - be happy! x Jo
ReplyDeleteI always love the way us Crafter's spread out, we really do love our stash around us! My desk is bare today, went to footy last night so very little will be done today and a bare desk is a bit boring! Take care Zo xx
ReplyDeleteYou really are Little Miss Messy today!! Definitely the prize winner for the most chaos, LOLOL!! But, did you have fun doing it? You did? Well then, it's all worth it, isn't it?? :)
ReplyDeleteHugs, LLJ 36 xxxx
wow I bet that made you jump when the box fell down it must have taken you a few minutes to take a look to see what it was.
ReplyDeleteI know you think your desk is a mess but from one who does have OCD I coped with taking a look.
Love your easter card and your other colour images it looks like you have got the hang of it
Happy WOYWW

I'm with Sue and I LOVE your abstract floor art. Just remember that it's there because you made something wonderful! Your card is so lovely.
ReplyDeleteHope I can have a quick natter on Friday.
love Jo x
Love the mess! Brilliant. I'm thinking of putting a hanger on my door saying 'My room, My mess!'.I have to admit that heavy handedness is one of my faults too- I do try though. Hubby agrees that I am very trying! Your mention of the blogger awards reminded me that two people have given some to me recently- like you I have got swallowed up by work over the last few weeks, hence no WOYWW appearance. I will have to blog & share them too. Have a great week, Hugs, Shaz #121
ReplyDeleteBeautiful Easter card and I love the coloring you are doing. I need to do more and maybe take a course...someday! Thanks for sharing. Have a great week. Vickie #1
ReplyDeleteThe card is lovely and this week we ALL seem to be particularly messy! Your desk and floor fit right in. Have a great week
ReplyDeleteHappy WOYWW

Tudi jaz imam nekaj podobnega okoli sebe, a temu pravim ustvarjalni nered, ki ga ko je čas tudi pospravim, a ko me prevzame naval ustvarjanja je spet tako in tako kroži.
ReplyDeleteLp Tamara
...lepo ustvarjanje
Hey your craft room looks great...love the couch too! Sometimes in the middle of our creative frenzies we really just can't be interrupted to pick up a few things that for whatever reason decided they needed to be on the floor. I LOVE your card. Maybe I should try to make a few; you make a very convincing case. Hope you have a great week!
ReplyDeleteHi Dolores
ReplyDeletewow, what a lot to look at this week and I mean ALOT all over the desk and the floor etc, etc. I hope it doesn't take too long to clear it all up. Your easter cards are lovely ...as they always are and I'm sure you deserve all the awards.

Hello my colouring is not brilliant but yours looks fine to me, a lovely card. Mess is good :-) Happy WOYWW Anne x #137
ReplyDeleteThat must have startled you when it fell! Oh my goodness!
ReplyDeleteYour Easter card is so very pretty. I still send Easter cards and you are right it seems to be a thing of the past. I like to send a religious card to my friends who celebrate the religious aspect of Easter and cute cards to the neighbour kids and my grandchildren!
Love the vintage image you used. Sorry I haven't been round much lately...life and health sometimes get in the way. I hope your knee is doing a little better...
Tvoja ustvarjalnica je videti kot čudežna dežela. Raj za ustvarjanje in raziskovanje. Je točno to kar si ne upam, pa mi je všeč :)).
ReplyDeleteVelikonočna voščilnica je zelo lepa.
Pozdravček, J.
