Good morning my dear friends!
How are you all doing?? I hope everybody is well and happy! I seem to be back on track with my crafting although I must admit I did more ironing this week then crafting...I am now finished with all that domestic nonsense and I can now enjoy dabbing, coloring and generally crafting away! We are still enjoying summer weather but the forecast is that next week we will fall flat on our face right into winter - even a few snowflakes are possible - I will let you know about that! Anyway back to my desk - it is messy as always -I was making a card for my aunt (she is 83) using Copics - I had to get them out as I haven't used them in a while and I wonder if they haven' t all went dry - they didn't so I managed to do a bit of coloring! The stamp is from Crafty Individuals - I love their vintage stamps ! I cut into some DP (huh heartbreaking) and I found a matching ribbon!
So here is my desk of this morning.....
A close up of what is going to be a card! A few Pitt pens and Copics.....
And an overal look of my messy desk - I am really doing something about that - I think I will do some changes this weekend! I have no space !!!!
This is short and sweet today I will be back to show my finished card later....
Have a lovely day, have a lovely snoop, enjoy life!
Lots of hugs to all of you,
Cardarian

Ironing instead of crafting...are you feeling ok?? Just flatten the clothes out by putting them under your mattress - lol!! Pretty card for your aunt, floral but not fussy - perfect! Thanks for dropping by :) xx
ReplyDeleteJo is right about the billy Connolly show! Your card looks lovely already - the ribbon is gorgeous. If you're planning to have a tidy, you're at the stage I was...balancing things on things..it doesn't work for long! Enjoy the newly tidies space at the weekend!
ReplyDeleteThat card looks so pretty ..cant wait to see the finished creation.
ReplyDeleteI only iron what HAS to be done ...I've learnt tricks to reduce the pile ...who knows whether certain items are ironed or not. lol
The makings of your card are lovely. Don't you just love a good mess. Never enough time to tidy up lately. It is to freeze here tonight, was 50 today and will warm up in a few days again. Weird Weather this year!!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy WOYWW..
loving your crafty space - thanks for sharing with us Liz #69
ReplyDeleteYikes, snowflakes? Really?? Gosh I hope not! It's a bit cold here too this morning, just a little unseasonal blip I hope! Love the card in the making, that's such a great stamp, and I love your gift from Donna too. And that bathroom! Wow, what a great transformation!

It's still so hot here, I can hardly wait for cooler weather. But I had to catch up a bit since I was gone last week. That new bath is gorgeous and colorful. I bet it fits you perfectly. And I like the Mosh book from Donna, too. I really like the ribbon you will be using on the card, and hope you had a great WOYWW.
ReplyDeleteJust a quick visit this week due to illness but hope to do better next week ... thanks for sharing your desk. Your card is beautiful - I love Crafty Individuals vintage stamps too. I hope you have a great weekend. Elizabeth x #121
ReplyDeletegreat looking start to the card! Sorry I am so late getting by this week but I wanted to pop by and visit your blog to say hello and to see what you are up to! Didn't have the time to post(except about newest Doswell addition) or craft the past two weeks due to being in Virginia visiting with the son's family to see the newest granddaughter born. Definitely a fun time none the less. Hope you have a great week. Vickie aka okienurse
