Hello my bloggy friends!
I have been away for 2 WOYWWs - ha, ha it seems that time is now measured in WOYWWs! I was in England visiting my DBF - it was his birthday so lots of stuff was going on - a few parties, went to London to see David Hockneys exhibition at the Royal Academy of Arts and also an enjoyable evening at the Queens Theatre with Les Miserables....one day went down to Hastings for the famous fish and chips and a few trips to crafty shops! Also went through a horrible cold! Huh!
I haven't managed to do much crafting since I came back as I had to jump into full time ( rather overtime) work plus I have physiotherapy every day for the next couple of weeks - soooooo painful! But I guess if I still want to be able to walk I better be good!
Anyway let me show you a few things on my desk.....
Yes what you see there are the TH Distress Markers - by some luck I was able to purchase them and bring them back home with me - all sorts of crafty bits and bobs on show - I was quite happy with my shopping ha, ha....
Here is another closer look...
This is a shot of my desk this morning - a bit of a mess - I made a card for a friend who was celebrating becoming an honorary professor but of course I forgot to take a picture of the card! Huh!
And now a few photos from my galavanting around England....David Hockneys exhibition.... love, love, love the colors!!!!
Les Mis.....
Fortnum and Mason....bought a jubilee tea caddy - ha, ha very turisty! Boooo say the English! I can here you.....still the stuff they have in there - I could buy the whole shop!
Hastings....... love this little girl strutting down the beach....
and a view of the burnt down pier......
and as last two cards I made before I left.....one is a Valentines card my daughter wanted me to make for her boyfriend with NO pink or red! How hard is that to make?????? Valentines and nothing red or pink??? Madness....but I did it!
And a card for one of my friends in England......it is something I will enter into the Crafty Individuals challenge - Spring!
And yes spring has come we have lovely sunshine and quite warm too - not even any frost on the car this morning!
Have a lovely day - a lovely week - enjoy the snoop around the desks - that will be my only job today when I get home - desk hoping!
Lots of hugs to everybody,
Cardarian
PS: I went to Crafty Individuals blog for the challenge and the collection is already closed - ha, ha missed that one then - never mind I knew I was late but didn't realise I was too late!
Your cards are gorgeous. Glad you enjoyed your visit to England - fish and chips in Hastings is always good for a day out. (Hazel, WOYWW #5) x
