WOYWW, HELP, I have a problem!

Hi my dear friends!

Something very strange is going on with blogger today! I started writing my post and wanted to add a photo a weird message came up saying I have used all my space - 1GB and have to " buy" space now....I don't know how to fix this so I am asking anybody who knows anything about this to help me! Also I have posted this appeal earlier and the whole post disappeared! I will try and post this again so I hope it will work!
HELP! HELP ! HELP!

Lots of hugs to all

  3. Hi... yes, if you have used up your picture allowance, you will have to pay for extra. If you go to Picasa, with your blogger login if it doesn't log you in straight away, it will offer you options for how much extra you'd like to pay for. Which I think is probably what Sonja is telling you above, by the look of it. I'm a photo-heavy poster, so I've had to do it! Good luck, hope you make it back soon, and happy WOYWW!

  4. Yes I had to do this also. You have an allowance for pictures that is free but once you've used it you have to buy more, it's about £1.90 ish a month but it means you can post your pictures with no problems. I know of a few people who have had to do this so it's a normal problem. It's easy to sort just follow the instructions. There are different amounts to buy but I chose the smaller one as it is enough for me each month. Take care Zo xx 59

  5. I've had the same because I post a lot of photos so I pay for extra. Cost me about $5.00 or so a year but then I never have a problem with space so for me it's been worth it!

  6. How weird! That same thing happened to me this evening, by which I mean at 2 a.m. as I was trying to get my WOYWW post completed and posted! I went into Picasso and deleted tons of images I didn't even realize were being stored in there...maybe you could do that and get away with not paying for a little while longer? I figure I will have to pay eventually but not today! lol :) Deeyll #76

  7. I missed retuning your visit last week so you are on my list for this week!

Can't help with Blogger, I'm afraid - I use wordpress, have been blogging (very photo heavy) for like 3 years, and still used only the barest bit of my 20g storage allowance. Hopefully you will figure it out without having to pay :(

    Happy WOYWW!

  11. I've found that you have to go through all your old pictures in picassa album and delete the ones you no longer have up or the repeats you've posted up and never used ... it's basically time to clean your blogger up
Good luck with it and hope you get it sorted

  12. I use google+ too, but you can buy extra space and its only a few quid a year.Cost me $5.75( or the UK equivalent).I was amazed at how much stuff Picassa stores, but do be careful deleting, as you can end up deleting images that are on your blog- guess how I know that:) Have a great week, Hugs Shaz #107

  14. Are you reducing all your photos before you post them? If not it eats your allowance. I reduce them all to max 550 long side & it takes much less space. Don't know if that helps? Ali #21

  16. I couldn't find your post at all yesterday, it's odd isn't it!! I think the photo thing is happening a lot recently, I think the idea is to make us all migrate to google+, because after all, one of the attractions of blogger was meant to be that it's free. Anyway, hope you're sorted now..another huge technical learning curve!!

  17. Oh dear, this is the first I've heard of this problem and have no idea about how to solve it. I upload directly to blogger and have no google+ or picasa to store photos in. I'm going to come back here to find out more in the comments! patsy
