WOYWW, After Christmas and Turkish Coffee

Good morning my bloggy friends!

I hope you had a lovely Christmas, surrounded with family and friends! I had all my family with me , my mom stayed with me, my brother came with his family and my daughter with her boyfriend! We had a lovely gathering, there were lots of presents, good food and happiness....my brother brought his guitar and we sang Christmas carols and what ever song we could think of! It was good fun! I went to church with my mom and it was a lovely service!
Well my mom just left, she is travelling with my brother back home so I am on my own at the moment, thinking what jobs I have to do....one is tidying up after all that Christmas cheer, a big bag full of stuff to take to the recycling bins - all that wraping paper wasted! Huh! Some washing to do, packing my bags because tomorrow I am flying to England to spend New Year with my DBF! So quite busy I must say....
Now it is of course Wednesday and time to show desks to the world - Stamping Ground is where you have to go if you want to join in, I don't think many will be joining in....it is Boxing day in England and we have a holiday too but I guess the ladies from over the oceans will be back to work today!
Here is my desk....yes I just made some turkish coffee and I will be enjoying it whilst writing....nothing interesting on my desk today....ha, ha I need a rest from all that crafting!

Here are a few photos of my Christmas tree - it is quite small this year but I love it - it reminds me of times when I was little and I went to my grandmom and grandads farm - they had a christmas tree like that but no baubles on it - in those days people couldn't afford them so there were, sweets, cookies and gold colored walnuts, and little apples on the tree - how lovely - wish we could go back to those times!

The lovely angels I recieved from the two Jos are enjoying their top spots!

Here is another photo of the tree with the star on top....

And here is my Christmas wreath.........

Ok then, I better get up to tidying up....
Have a lovely rest of the holidays, I will try to wizz around as much of you as I can!
Lots of hugs to all of you  and happy holidays!

  2. I can see you are having a purply/pink Christmas there. I have been changing my colour for the past few years, purple to turquoise and now lime green, think I'll be back to purple next year. Have a happy New Year BJ#15

  7. I love all the rather sexy purple decorations in your house, quite decadent!! We sang carols and played daft games too, that's what having everybody back home means to me!

  8. It sounds like you have had a wonderful family Christmas. We had Hubby's Mum over for Dinner which was rather nice. After Hubby left to take her home it was into my new PJs and playing with my new toy..a 7" tablet. Quite a learning curve!
    Have a great New Year.

Hope you enjoyed boxing day in England.

  19. I'm late, very late, but I just wanted to pop in and wish you and yours a happy, healthy and prosperous New Year. By the time you read this you should be in England with your DBF - how lovely for you. I love your little Christmas tree - it reminds me of the the trees we had when I was a child. Elizabeth x #30
