WOYWW, A busy life...

Hello my dear friends!

Have you heard the one retired people say "I am so busy, I don't know how I ever had time to go to work?" Well I know what that means now! I have been sooo busy I just can't believe I am retired!!!
Still I do have news....my DBFs operation date is now set for the 12th of May and we have now done everything we had to do before this will happen. What is sad though I won't be able to come to the WOYWW crop and I was sooo looking forward to it especially as I now live in England and it would be really nice and easy to go! Oh well I hope to go to some WOYWW gathering at some point!
I will of course send off and participate in the ATC exchange although I must admit I haven't done much about it yet!
But now lets get up to business....first up shots of my desk....

What you see is all sorts of things among them a stand for glasses which I picked up in a Tiger shop - love it and also a start of an ATC although honestly I don't know what I am doing! I will get there eventually - maybe over the weekend! Have you noticed the colors on the ATC, they are the new TH distress inks called abandoned coral and fossilized amber - really nice colors - he, he and the coral one matches my top...

I got this really handy crafty thinge from Jo from Jozart where I keep quite a bit of my crafty goodies....

And last a few cards I have made in recent times....

Thats it from me folks! I have made a big change in my life and it hasn't been easy but I am getting there and once I am back on track my blog will be seeing more posts again!
Lots of hugs to all have a lovely week

  1. Oh what a shame we won't be seeing you at the Crop, but these things happen! Hope everything goes smoothly with DBF's operation. I'm so glad you're settling in ok...I know what you mean about not working and yet being busier than before! It's the same with me :-). Hope we manage to meet up at some point soon!

  4. Love all the cards, and good news about DBFs operation being set and you ready for it. Shame about the crop but do LMK you new address and I will send you a WOYWW ATC even if you can't manage one to swap. We'll miss you!

    Happy day after WOYWW!

  5. If it is the first time you do a ATC I understand that you don't know what you are doing, I felt the same the first time ;) But so far your piece is good looking!! I am also a bit jealous on your handy crafty thingy, it could really be usefull in my small crafting room... I hope that everything will be okey according to the operation, and I wish you a lovely week to :)

  6. Lovely cards - especially the "hello" one. Sorry you won't make the crop, but then I won't either but one day we will meet up.
Good luck with Alan's operation - I will think of you both and send a prayer up for it to be successful.
Nice to see such a busy desk - and in England too.
Hugs, Neet (the last one on the list I think) xx
