WOYWW, 21st April

Hi Girls!

I hope I got the the date right this time ha, ha.....how are you ladies today?? Ready for the snoop??? This is my 3rd post this morning so I have been quite busy trying to fill you in with all the news! So what is on my workdesk this morning....allsorts! No, not the candy although I wouldn't mind as I like allsorts very much....allsorts of bits and bobs that have been left on the desk from my last card and a few new things...
Swing to the right! My pink box with brads and other embellies, the black box is full of various shapes of Nestabilities but I would always want more!

And a bit of a close up.....I have been playing with TH inks and also tried a bit of zentangling....I find it quite hard although it looks quite easy...you have to keep up thinking of new ways to doodle ( sorry - zentangle) if you want it to be interesting! So not that easy! I want to make bookmarks similar to the one's Sherry Goodloe from GOT ART? made for one of her demos,  to give away when we open the new library! So I must learn! :-)

A close up on my shelf shows my new TH inks - all the new colors ( I just got them in the post!) - they haven't been opened yet I intend to have a play with them tonight!

And now swing to the left...my cuttlebug and all the rest of the junk but there is a new thing there too...

Yes here is a close up - I have yet another new punch :-)  a McGill bracket punch! Love it!!!!

And last but not least 2 photos I took yesterday in our old city by the river:

And here is one with all the people sitting outside and enjoying their meals YIPEEEE!! We finally have nice weather!!

I hope you have too! Enjoy the snoop! I will be visiting all you girls and snooping around your work desks! Thank you Julia for this brilliant snoop idea!
Bye for now!
Hugs,
Cardarian

  8. Brilliant snoop today! Lots of lovely piccies. Are you going to put stickers on the sides of the inks so you can go straight to the colour you need rather than going through the whole pile to find it?
Love your doodling too! Never heard of the new technical term.

  9. Ooh I want to come and live there by the river, it looks lovely :) That punch looks great! The Zentangle looks good, I had a go a couple of weeks ago but won't be getting into them, maybe just a little bit of doodling on things.

  11. I had a really fun time snooping around your work space. It looks so nicely organized, too. It's always fun to create in an organized space, or at least for me.

Your outdoor shots are sensational. I was in awe of the beauty by the river. What a view people who live there have.

Thanks for sharing your place and letting me snoop. Have a fun filled snoopy WOYWW.

  18. Love your photos, thanks for sharing. Great idea to make bookmarks for the library - hope you havenn't set yourself too hard a task though, how many will you have to make?

  19. What a great time I have had nosing through your craft area ...I want that punch.
    Love the photos ...so tranquil.
I find the more you think about the doodle the harder it seems ... I like what you have done.

How many bookmarks do you have to make??? If you do a large 12x12 ...you could slice the sheet up making them 2x6 ...then punch a hole and add a cord or ribbon ...even add a black letter on top,if needed. I feel that you will get less frustrated by thinking of different designs this way ... and the 12 will be all different. If you are thinking of doing loads ie 50+ ....Good Luck and try not to get stressed ...it is meant to focus and de-stress you lol

  35. Good to see another PINK workspace, and you have some great-looking stash to play with there! Never seen that punch before either! Your town looks very tranquil and beautiful in the sunshine. To answer your question about magnetic sheet - I just did a Google search, or you could try Ebay? I ended up with the heavier stuff but I believe magnetic paper works just as well!

  38. Hello Slovenia, from Jamaica. We have something in common, actually, besides being in small countries with few other scrapbookers/paper crafters... have you ever heard of Merlene Ottey? She is a Jamaican sprinter who adopted Slovenia as her home country and competed under your flag in the Olympics.
Anyway, do you have paper stores in Slovenia? How do you get your tools and supplies? Are there are other paper crafters there? So many questions!

  39. And you say I've got a lot of stash???? hahaha, I think you've got quite a lot yourself - and this time you've proved it! I love the way you entice us with little glimpses of new stuff every week!

  47. How sweet of you to mention me in your post regarding the Zentangle bookmarks I've made for my workshop attendees *smiles*.

I got a lot of compliments today at the flea market that is put on by Whimzy where I'm going to be teaching the Charm Necklace workshop again. I think wearing the necklace was a good thing (as Martha Stewart would say - hee hee)

    Thanks for stopping by today!

  48. LOL...at you referring to snooping - which is exactly what it is! LOL. I LOVE the bracket punch and having a nosey at your goodies...the TH ink pads too. I've just bought 10 new ones myself - so rich and colourful. When using the punch, does it punch out all brackets at once or can you choose which ones you want?

Your photos are beautiful and it's lovely to see how others celebrate anniversaries etc. TFS. ~Glen~
