Hello lovely friends!
Back for another WOYWW and this time it is WITH our Queen Julia! Boy was that a shock when there was no where to link to and the news that our lovely leader is stuck in a foreign hospital! Ah we were lost!
But she is back now hopefully improving and yes already talking about a Christmas card marathon???? Really!!??? So, so happy to have our lovely queen Julia back you were really missed!!!!!! Lots of hugs to you and get well wishes!
My back is still the same no improvement, but I am struggling and trying to live a fairly normal life - yesterday I actually went on a trip with our faculty to Austria....but I will talk about that in a minute - first I should show you what I have been making and my desk!
I have been making confirmation cards! I made a really nice one which I didn't take a picture of - dahhh!!!
And here are the other 2.....again using my watercolor background techniques....
Then I made another one with the same color combo, blue, white and silver....
and here is my desk with a lovely ATC I just recieved from Zoe from Craftygasheadzo.....thank you so much for sending that lovely ATC - it was so nice to recieve a surprise letter!!!
and also on my desk is something new....stamps and dies from Clearly Besotted Stamps!
So that is the crafty bit of my post today and here is just an interesting thing from my trip to Austria yesterday - we went to see this thing called Pyramidenkogel - the highest wooden contruction in the world....
Here is what you see from the top...
and this is proof I have been up there....it was a bit scary I admit......
Ok that is it for today....oh no not yet!
A very lovely friend of mine Jo is celebrating her birthday today and I would like to wish her all the best! Have a lovely day and eat cake! :-) Lots of hugs are being sent to you from Slovenia!
And of course hugs to all of you bloggy friends out there from

Hello and Good evening my dear friends!
I am a bit late posting - I was working till late and then rushed off to a craft shop to get some watercolor pans! Why you ask? Because I have gone watercolor mad! I signed up for this online watercolor class and I think I really like these techniques so I needed to gear up for them! I have been deciding which ones to buy - there are so many watercolor mediums you can buy pencils, pans, tubes, distress inks...but somehow I always liked the pans so I went for that - ages ago I bought a set of Van Gogh watercolors but I didn't have all the colors I would want so I went and bought new colors but also went a notch up and but the most professional ones called Rembrandt from Talens - ah the pigments are just amazing - you just have to give the pan the tinyest touch with the brush and you get this amazing rich color which you can spread out so easily and still have that rich color - really enjoying this! In the next few days I will be playing with my new stuff and will show you what I have been doing but for now just have a look at all my watercolors...Those tiny pans are my new ones - love, love, love the colors!
I also found this new die for a dove - I need one for my confirmation cards - people keep asking for them so I had to get another die so the cards are not all the same - as you know I do not make 2 cards identical!
Next I would like to show you a lovely tag and atc with a lovely note from DEBBIE from Tattered Rocks,
Thank you so much Debbie I was so surprised and happy to recieve this lovely gift.....
So that is all from me at the moment I will come back later in the week and show you what I made but as I am quite late I will make this short and sweet.
I have just found out that Julia has been taken ill in Spain on holidays so there is no WOYWW today! So sorry to hear the bad news and I guess if all the WOYWWers wish her well she will soon be feeling better!
My dear Julia thinking of you and I hope you get well soon!
Lots and lots of hugs to all my dear friends .

Hello my dear friends!
I am so sorry I haven't been around desks this week - since I came back to Slovenia I have been so busy and also suffering with really bad backache! So fed up with this pain all the time! I guess it is old age but still you just think enough is enough! Ok no more moaning!
First of all I would like to thank everyone who gave an ATC to Julia for me - a big thank you - unfortunatly I haven't recieved them because I left for Slovenia before they arrived to my DBFs! So they are now probably in his house but nobody is there to pick up the mail! I will get them eventually - no worry!
Thank you to Julia who has sent them - the Royal Mail didn't deliver in time! Huh!
I sent off the ATCs, to a few who haven't attended the crop - I should have sent them from England but I ran out of time so I have sent them all from Slovenia - they will arrive soon I hope!
That is all of the WOYWW5 business so now lets move on to the next year! Here is my really messy desk!
I have been dabbling with watercoloring lately - I signed up for an online course for cardmakers which is really helpful but I am not really a very talented watercolorist ( is that even a word???) - hence the water and paint brushes on my desk ......
Here is a card I made for one of my cousins kids for their confirmation!
With this card I am playing along with two Slovene challenges:
Craftalnica - they want you to use Slovene words on your card - either a stamp or other - I used a die by Najlepši par and I will show this in their gallery too..
and MAVELU june challenge they want you to do something out of the box - out of your comfort zone and the watercoloring for me is definitly out of my comfort zone....
The background is watercoloring and so is the die cut flower - it is a Memory box die but I cut it out with watercolor paper and then colored it! The other die cuts are Spellbinders! I die cut a few of those words and then stacked them one on top of the other so it looks thicker.
I hope to be able to get round to you WOYWWers this week - I think I might finally have a few hours of free time so I can hop around! Thank you to all of you girls who commented last week - I will try to get back to you too!
Have a lovely week and enjoy your crafting!
Lots of hugs to all of you,

Hello my lovely bloggy friends!
Today we are celebrating 5 years of friendship and sharing our desks with each other, learning new techniques, hearing about new products or just nosing - Whats On Your Work desk Weddnesday!
Thank you to our leader and organizer JULIA to make it all happen 5 years ago but also to all the other lovely crafters who participate every week and show us what they have been up to every week! So congratulations to everybody! We have all done well and lets carry on for yet another year!
I have missed the WOYWW special anniversary crop but I did give my ATCs to Julia (Jan) and I hope they have been given to all the girls at the crop!
Some have sent them to me at my DBFs address (thank you Annie - Wipso and Jo - Twiglet) I will be sending your ATCs today!
I am still in England but am leaving tomorrow so if anybody wants my ATC it will be coming from Slovenia!
Ok then lets get up to regular business! First up my desk - well it is not my desk really it is the table in my DBFs lounge - I have made a terrible mess and my DBF said " gosh you are a messy person" - he, he well he will have to put up with that!
I have been making cards to go with the ATCs I will be sending off! The cards are not super quality as I only have limited resources here to make them!
And here are the ATCs I have been given and sent by LL Jan, Wipso and Twiglet... LL Jan threw in a little pin cushion - isn't it lovely?
I have been given an ATC bag - Jo from Jozart gave me this one - look at this amazing bag!
So that is my WOYWW 5 anniversary post! I will be putting an asterix beside my name!
Have a lovely week and enjoy the anniversary WOYWW!
Lots of love and hugs to all of you

Happy crafting!!!
Hello my dear bloggy friends!
How are you all? In England everybody had a nice week with lovely sunny weather - including me! Now it seems there is going to be a change - just right as me and my DBF are traveling to Ilfracombe with our MG club! Huh! Anyway let me tell you what I have been up to for the last 2 weeks!
As you all know after coming to England I went straight to Liverpool spending a few days with Jo from Jozart - she was kind to write all about our stay there and you can read all about here and here. I had a lovely, lovely time and thank you so much Jo and Dave it was a wonderful birthday for me!!!
I got some lovely presents which I will show in a minute but first I want to show my "desk", ha, ha honestly today I had a desk on the floor - competition for Helen!!!
I got a load of crafty stuff from Jo and as I don't have a crafty room here in England yet I decided to pack all my stash in bins but I wanted to sort everything so I will know what I have! So it went from the mess bellow....
to everything sorted.....
So that was my "desk work" today!
Next up my lovely birthday presents! Jo made a lovely needle case for me....
She also made me an amazing bag with Tim Holtz material - absolutely love it! Thank you Jo!
We all met up with Donna from Doings of Doone and she made me a lovely quilt - so artsy!! I keep looking at all the amazing detail! Thank you so much Donna!
So those were my lovely crafty presents! I was given some money (DBF) so I bought some new stash and a bit of clothing! In Liverpool Jo took me to this amazing shop were they sell stuff for "celebrating curves" - very nice!
Oh yes we went to the Faversham classic car show.....here is a photo from that....
And yes I would love to own this one! What a lovely car!!!!
As it is the Chelsea flower show this week it is only appropriate to show some flowers....I am showing peonies from our garden....
And as last! I won't be at the crop but I am meeting up with Julia and LLJan tomorrow and will give them the ATCs for all the girls at the crop! If anyone wants my ATCs but is not attending the crop please let me know and I will send them to you next week! Just leave me a comment! Of course the one that will be my "sparing" partner will also get my ATC.
So there that is me for now - I better get to bed now as I have been doing so much work today I really need a rest!
Lots of hugs and love to all!

Hello my dear bloggy friends!
I am here on WOYWW again, missing out last week - still I am trying and getting better! This week is my last post from Slovenia, I will be in England for 3 weeks so my posts will be from there! I am flying over tomorrow with my DBF and we are driving from the airport towards Liverpool where we will meet up with my dear friend Jo from Jozart in Liverpool the next day! Also on the Saturday meeting up with Donna from Doings of Doone! Ah what joy! Sooo looking forward to this!As you can see I will be packing tonight and probably won't be able to get back to any of you but I know that next week when I am at my "home" in Kent I will be able to get back to all you kind people who comment on my blog!
So what is on my desk - well I don't have a picture of my really messy desk because I forgot to take it this morning but I do have photos of things I have been making on that desk!
First order of business ATCs....I will be sending some off to people I know will not come to the crop! I will be giving some personally to people I will be meeting and hopefully I will be able to give some to Julia and Lunch Lady Jan ( who I will try to meet in Wiltshire if they will have time - they don't know about it yet but we will see) who will give them away at the crop which I will unfortunately not be able to attend this year! So sad as I really love to go to this crop! Still in the very near future I will be spending more time in England so going to crops and card marathons and all sorts will be much easier! More on what is happening in another post!
Here are photos of my atcs....this year my theme is flower die cuts on stamped and self made background!
I couldn't do all of them one by one, so there are five of them on each photo - I am not sure if I have enough - 25 at the moment but I might have to make more....
Here are a few close ups....
Ok then next up are 2 cards I have made - one is a birthday card for my friend who's birthday is one day after mine and I won't see her because I am away!
and as last my cousins daughter has her Confirmation on Saturday and here is the card I made for the occasion....
So that is all my dear friends from Cardarian's happy place! See you all soon!
Lots of hugs to all of you,
CARDARIAN
Hello my dear friends!
I am back for another snoop around desks called WOYWW - if you haven't heard about it please fly over to the Stamping Ground where all the info on this subject is available - a very kind lady Julia will explain everything to you!
I am recovering from Easter holidays - huh too much food - ham, eggs, potica (a famous Slovene walnut cake) and of course chocolate! Cholesterol levels can go very high with this sort of diet and if you add spring tiredness you have a lovely combination for lazing around and turning into a sack of potatoes!
Even on the crafty side there is a bit of a lul after all those Easter cards! Huh!
But no worry I have found a new goal - ATCs for our anniversary of WOYWW! I saw Julia has started on them and probably a few others too - I am not sure - stilll contemplating what to make but what is in my head at the moment is what you will see on my desk!
So here is a straight forward look at my desk....
Yes I have made backgrounds with my new Lindsy's Stamp Gang Starburst sprays and now I am thinking of using various die cuts as focal points but I am not sure what else to add...
I have taken photos also of the very messy left side of my desk....
And of course the less messy right side of my desk...
and to top it up my couch that is still covered in stuff I used for my Easter cards - no will to tidy that up yet!
Oh yes I think I haven't showed this card yet....
This die is called Floral Fusion Cover Up (obviously because it covers up the whole front of a card) and I find that you can use it in many ways - this is a birthday card I made with it!
So now you know what I have been doing and what is new in my craft room!
I will love you and leave you now as I have to cook diner! Ooh well!
Have a lovely WOYWW evening - lots of snooping around and I will come to see you soon!
Lots of hugs to all of you
CARDARIAN
Hello my dear friends !
I am back again, didn't do WOYWW because I had a long day and wanted to finish off all my cards for Easter - I will show you my cards and also some little Easter baskets I have made for my friends at work...
Today is Good Friday - most of you people in England and Europe are starting your Easter holidays - we are not off today - will start our holidays tomorrow - actually just a prolonged weekend! The sun is out but I must say we are having a proper April this year with weather going from very warm and sunny to bitterly cold and windy and lots of showers! Still I am hoping that means I will have a lovely May in England :-) .
Okay lets get up to business then....
Here are my cards.....They are all photos from my phone....I have used various techniques, mostly coloring and die cutting - I still can't get myself to do the stenciling with modelling and embossing paste - it is quite messy and I have so little space on my desk - as I move my "workspace" to the terrace I guess I will start on that sort of technique...
I am having a bit of a love affair with dies and die cutting as you can see on this card....
Next up is die cutting and coloring....ohhh these cute bunnies....
This card is a bit of a modern approach - I like Debbie Hughs cards so sometimes I try to go a bit into a more CAS way but still - it is so hard not to put an embelishment on....
These 2 cards are one of my favourite - The background on one of them is embossed and then lightly tapped with various TH DI, the other is just watercolor painting and both have added die cuts...The hollyhocks die is one of my favorites at the moment!!!
This chic is really cheeky!!!Makes you happy just to look at it!
These 2 cards are made with Graphic 45 papers - it was a tough call cutting into them but totally worth it as they are just sooo beautiful!
All of these cards will be entered into a challenge at MAVELU internet craft shop - their challenge is Easter so I think my post totally suits the challenge!
As last I would like to show you my little Easter baskets - they were my first - I am not really a paper crafter but I think I did well....
Yes of coarse there are chocolate eggs in them!
Thats all folks - see you next week - have a lovely Easter - enjoy time with your family and friends!
Lots of love, hugs and Easter blessings to all,
CARDARIAN
