Hello WOYWW friends!
I am here again and very happy! Happy because I will be coming to the crop! YIPEEEEE! Alan is feeling better and I am feeling well - the same - but I don't want to miss this lovely opportunity to meet so many of you lovely ladies! We will be traveling to the area on Friday so there will be no pressure on the day to get to the crop! I just can't wait - and I hear there will be a lot of us coming to this crop! Better hurry with my ATCs....here is my desk of today!
As you can see ATCs are in the making....
To the right of my desk there is a lot new stamps and dies...
And to the left of my desk is my die cutting machine which I am thinking of replacing with a new electronic one but I haven't made my mind up yet....I had a Tim Holtz one a few years ago and that went terribly wrong so I am having a think...
Here are a few things I made since last Wednesday...
A card for my 85 year old auntie...
A card for my PIF Helen.....
and here is card with some edelweiss flowers - I love them and a company from Slovenia ( Najlepši par) has just brought them out!
Today's blog is done....have a lovely rest of the week and I hope to see a lot of you at the crop in Shrewsbury!
Love and hugs to all

WOYWW big 10 years!!!!
My dear WOYWW friends!
These days I am a rare sight at the WOYWW but it is not forgotten for me! Health issues both for me and my partner have taken me away from blogging but I will be back! I am of course back today because it is a very special day! 10 years of WOYWW. It is 10 years of messy desks, tidy desks, snooping on other peoples desks, learning new crafty tricks and making really, really special friendships with crafters from all over the world, UK, EU, USA, Australia and well everywhere! Julia our Queen of deskers - founder of STAMPING GROUND where we all meet - I am sure you never thought this would go so far and beyond! Well done my dear friend! And of course a big THANK YOU!!! This WOYWW has made me the crafty person I am today! And friends that I met through this lovely gathering have taught me a lot! I am forever grateful for this wonderful, wonderful thing called WOYWW.
I will participate in the ATC swap of course and maybe just maybe if health of my partner improves I might be able to join the celebratory party (crop) in Shrewsbury! But if it doesn't , my dear friends my thoughts will be there with you!
Of course there is this usual business of showing our desks - and here is mine in all its messy glory!
😀
I have been frantically making cards - birthday cards, get well cards all sorts and to be honest I just don't have time to tidy up so enjoy the snooping - there is a few new products you can see! More washi tapes from Altenew - why am I still buying washi tapes if I have 2 boxes full of them??!? Can't give you an answer to that...here are a few examples of my latest cards....
That is all from me! HAPPY 10th BIRTHDAY WOYWW!! And love and hugs to all my lovely friends some I have met in person, some I just know from their blog ! You are all my people!

WOYWW, Cards, cards and more cards!
Hello my dear WOYWW friends!
I am back after a while - I try to make it every week but I will be honest I am sooo tired after all this swimming and trying to loose weight I just many times don't feel like doing anything. I am still regularly making cards - after making loads of Valentine's Day cards I have now moved to Easter cards and also birthday cards. So lets have a look first at my desk which looks clean at the moment although it is only clean after I made a card for about 5 minutes and then it gets all "crowded" again. I have this new Tim Holtz glass mat and I remember him saying because it is a bit lifted from the desk it makes you have more space - doesn't work for me - it still gets really messy!
My desk....
Next a few cards I have made recently....
First birthday cards - this one is for my nephew it is a shaker card and the letters are an MFT block letters die...I used them a bit different then what they have intended to be used...Background distress oxide sprays and a cogs embossing folder...
This card was made for my partners grandaughter - it was made with one of the new Altenew 3D dies..I love how it turned out...I also used distress oxides for the background - the combination of colors I used was in a video by Kristina Werner who has been showing lots of distress oxide ink combinations.
And here are a few Easter cards....this one was a challenge for me as I don't usually use these colors..
Washi tape from Alexandra Renke...
Those are just a few examples...I will go now and hopefully come back next week...
Hugs to all, have a lovely week...

WOYWW 503
Good evening my dear friends!
I am late posting and this will be a quick one too! I have been making cards and ordering new stuff too so that is what I will be showing you!
My mom was 85 last week and I made a card for her birthday....
She liked it very much - I think because it was so colorful!
I have also made another Valentines day card... I make these love cards for friends who I know will not get a Valentines day card - just to show some love and kindness to them...
Now that I look at them both they look similar although they have been made with completely different dies and techniques!
I have recently, actually before Christmas, discovered a German company that makes stamps and dies and lovely papers called Alexandra Renke - I have ordered stuff to England and also here to Slovenia and the service is perfect! So I recommend it!
Here are a few bits I have ordered.....
A few dies, papers, which were too big to fit into my photo and lovely washi tape! I said I won't buy any more washi tape but I just couldn't resist it!
So there my lovely friends that is me for this WOYWW.... I probably won't be on here next week as I will be travelling back to England!
Have a lovely week and enjoy your crafting!
Love and hugs to all of you

WOYWW 501
Good evening WOYWWers!
I am a bit late coming on here - the reason being I was contemplating what to make to show on my desk - I have not been doing much crafting since Christmas - simply burned out! Huh!
Today was one of those days when outside it was dull and dreary so I thought I can start on something! What to make? I did see somewhere on the internet that this years Pantone Color of the year 2019 will be LIVING CORAL. So I thought maybe I can do something with that! I made a background with Distress oxide inks, Abandoned coral, Tattered rose and Squeezed lemonade. I then looked at my paper pads and found a lovely one with similar colors from Graphic 45 - they have these lovely paper pads with so many useful bits and pieces - very easy to make a card!
Here is the result of my efforts...
It is a Valentines Day card - a collage but I am quite happy with it - my first make of the year! I have birthdays coming up soon so there will be more to see but this is all that is on my desk for today!
I am sure you all have lots to show so I will now go and have a look at your desks....
Have a lovely week and enjoy crafting!
Love and hugs

WOYWW 500 CONGRATS JULIA! HAPPY NEW YEAR 2019!!!!
Good morning my bloggy friends!
I am a day late but it is sort of still the festive season! So first
HAPPY NEW YEAR 2019!
I wish you all health, happiness and may you prosper and may all your wishes for this new year come true!
Next a big congratulations to Julia on the 500 WOYWW: What an amazing achievement! Julia you have really done a lovely job and the wonderful friendship we have all gained from this is priceless! I am really thankful to have been part of this and I hope I will be in the future!
I haven't been blogging much all this year! Mostly as I am still struggling with my knees and trying to loose weight and it takes all my energy! I have lost 10 kg which is about 20 pounds but it is not enough. It is so easy to put weight on but a terrible struggle to get it off! I will not complain I have to do this, get this operation and move forward!
Regarding blogging I am hoping to get back to it more regularly in 2019. Also try to not just blog on Wednesdays for WOYWW but also more often on other days and try to talk about other things! I will see how it goes! I have the ideas in my head and hopefully it will happen!
Now my desk is festive - I am at home in Slovenia at the moment and after a big rush up to Christmas to get all the cards out, there are just remnants of all the work done but nothing I can really show - I did make about 80 cards - they were all different! I think I have exhausted myself!
I think you can't find more messy then that - just random stuff everywhere! I am thinking of tidying up and changing things - here in Slovenia and in my craft room in England. That is on my to do list for 2019!
Just got my "tea up" call! So I better finish this! Wishing you all the best - have a great year, month, week and keeeeeeeep craaaaaafting!
Love and hugs to all of you

WOYWW, Not coming to the crop!
My dear WOYWW friends!
I haven't been blogging much this year! Actually I just looked and I have posted twice! I am not giving up blogging it is just at the moment I am struggling with constant pain and just can't do much!
I do look at your blogs sometimes but I don't really engage! Still I am hoping to have my operation soon! I am trying to lose weight but it is a struggle! I have been swimming and dieting but it is a slow process! Anyway I was going to come to the crop ! So about 2 weeks ago I said to my Alan
" Have a look for hotel in Llandudno !"
" When is the crop then ?" he says.
"Sometime end of September begin of October I think - let me check!"
And then the shock! It was 8th of September!!!! We are still in Slovenia and will be almost till the end of September as I am waiting for news on my operation!
So sad! I think this is the first time I will not be able to come to the crop! And to be honest it is one of the highlights of my crafty year! I have actually been making these ATCs for the crop - I even ventured into making quilted ones - and have been very proud to be so brave!
Here is the set of the paper ones I made....
and here are my quilted ones....
I hope there will be a report on the crop and I will be able to see some photos on your blogs! I will be waiting for the news!
My desk has this really tiny space as I have stuff everywhere! But I enjoy making things at my old desk! There is no place like home! (says Dorothy in the Wizard of Oz)
I have a lot of the new Distress Oxide inks - I love them - I think they are wonderful - and I love that you can stamp with them!
I have got into water coloring and I have bought 2 sets of them Koi and Altenew! I still can't decide which ones are better!
So there you see I am still making stuff - I try to make something every day - even if it is something small...
Have a lovely week - the ladies going to the crop have a wonderful time - wish I could be with you - I will be thinking of you!
Stamping Ground - Queen Julia here I come! :-)
Love and hugs to all of you,

WOYWW 9th Anniversary! YIPEEE!!!
My dear bloggy WOYWW friends!
I am sorry I haven't been around this year! Yes my only blog post was on the 3rd of January! I have been struggling with a lot of pain - my knees are really bad - there is no cartilage so it is bone on bone and I have been rejected for the operation because of my BMI. So now I am going swimming every morning and trying to get that weight down so I can have the operation! Blogging was something that was hard for me to do but I think I might get up to it again! Still I have never stopped crafting! I make cards and all sorts of other things and that is a big joy in my life!
It is the 9th WOYWW anniversary today! I haven't been posting on WOYWW from the beginning but my first post was on the 24th February 2010 so I have been around for quite a while! I have been to almost all the WOYWW crops and have met lovely people and now have very good friends thanks to Julia's WOYWW! Thank you Julia for starting this amazing thing! I must mention that because of being part of WOYWW my crafting has evolved and got better and better - I now have no fear of trying anything crafty!
I will show a few of the things I have made recently and yes I will be sending ATCs to anybody who wants one as I have made lots of them !
I have made an art book for my friend Donna for her birthday - it came a bit late but she did recieve and I can show a few photos....
These are just a few pages....
Then I made a birthday card for another friend...
And something I am really happy to say was that together with Jo my friend we made a quilt for a little girl that has a tumor in her head that is affecting her eyesight and she is having chemo therapy to reduce the tumor and they are hoping she will get some of her eyesight back....
and it goes in this cute bag....
So there that is some of the things I have been doing! I will try to be a good girl and blog more often ..Have a lovely week and a crafty celebration of the 9th WOYWW anniversary!
Love and hugs to all

WOYWW, HAPPY NEW YEAR 2018, New Year resolutions? Naaaa
Good morning lovely bloggy friends!
Long time no see! Yes I have been away from blogging for a long time! No point in apologizing but sometimes (to be honest all year really) I need a break from things and this seemed to have been my break year! Too much stuff went on and I just couldn't deal with regularly writing a blog. Now should I start with new year resolutions? Nooo because I never stick to them! But lets say at the moment I have some inner determination that I will be blogging more often. Also showing my work so that maybe someone can benefit from it or I will benefit from criticism. Either way it might be good!
I am waiting for a knee operation which might throw a spanner in the works for a few weeks but I hope to be able to even blog about getting over that! Huh!
So after that long introduction let me first say....
HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!!!
I hope you will all have lots of health and happiness in this coming year and hopefully we will have some peace and kindness in this world!
Now the main object of my blog is of course crafting - and making cards this holiday season I have realized how much I enjoy crafting and also that the more you craft the better you are at it . Here are a few cards I have made this holiday season.....
I think I made around 60 or more and everyone of them was different so it was a lot of using my thinking cap!
At the moment I am at home in Slovenia - at my old desk where all of you used to see me every week ... and as our lovely Queen of desk snooping Julia demands here is a picture of my desk - not much going on but there will be so stay tuned :-)
And here is something new for the new year - new cutting plates on my sizzix big shot! The old ones broke so I had to replace them - they did last a very long time!
This turned out to be a very long blog post - I hope you stayed with me till the end - if not I get it don't worry! :-)
Have a lovely week and always enjoy your crafting!
Love and hugs to all of you,
CARDARIAN
