WOYWW 24th March

Good morning Ladies!

How are all my crafty friends out there?? Enjoying the lovely spring?? We had a brilliant sunny day yesterday, but it is just so sad that us working folk have to sit in the office all day instead of enjoying the sun....still I did catch a little bit of the sun in the afternoon when I went to the Library Association meeting and had to park so far away I actually had a nice walk to the library where it was held! I guess sometimes when you can't find a parking space it can actually be a blessing!
I came home late last night but I had this great idea for a card I was going to make for my mom - it is Mother's Day in our country tomorrow ( 25th March), so I started on it straight away - doing all the printing and cutting and punching and.......in the end I put all the pieces together and I will say this bluntly - IT WAS CRAP!!!!!!!
Does this happen to you ladies sometime?? No matter how much I was turning the stuff around nothing worked! In the end I just walked away because I couldn't finish it......soooo this morning I got up at 5.30 and started a NEW card and I think this one will work...
I have taken photos of my messy desk and you can have a look at all the remnants of yesterday's and this mornings's work. I looked back at some of my posts from before and I think I haven't shown you the mess I can make yet ha, ha... I was going to show you a lovely craft room because on Saturday I had my spring cleaning and I sorted out the room quite nice - should have taken a photo then...eh well you will have to wait for my next post....I still owe you some photos from my Italian shopping but I am trying to figure out how to take a photo of clothes that would look nice - I should ask the lovely photographer Maria Medeiros from Cozycomfycouch to give me some advice on that!
Ok then here is my mess of a desk......

Have nose around ladies and be sure I will be snooping around your desk!
Wishing you all a lovely spring day!
Hugs from
Cardarian

  1. OOoh I love that rufled gingham ribbon! I see too that you use your keyboard to store things on when in 'push back' mode! I have LOADS of bad card days - mostly when I have an idea in my head tht looks great - I translate to paper very badly!!

  14. Oh the amount of times I've had a brilliant idea floating round in my head but just can't get to look like I want it to when I start making it. Happens a lot so don't worry about it, save the pieces you made/cut out/stamped etc, you'll use them one day. Love the card that's on your desk now with the big yellow bow, and are those photos of you and your mum together? I made my Mothers Day card on Sunday and entered it in the PB challenge.... I saw you over there too! *Waves*

  16. I don’t believe that the first card you made for your mum was ‘crap’ at all, but I know just what you mean about not being happy with something
I’m sure your mum will appreciate that you were up before the birdies this morning in order to make her a special card.
